Talk about engaging readers.
That’s the effect of adding an embedded video – online only, of course – to a NewsUSA traditional print “matte.” (As we say, news outlets are increasingly transitioning to digital, and this is a way to take advantage of it.)
Two factoids say it all:
- 4 out of 10 consumers will visit a brand’s website as a direct result of watching a video, according to Reel SEO.
- 69 percent of users say videos are perfect for quick product overviews and explainers, according to Visibility IQ.
Here’s how it works.
Since not all sites can handle video, we’ll distribute two versions of your traditional print story: one with a free photo (to also be used by print papers), and one with your ready-to-go embedded video instead.
Know that, if needed, in some cases we may be able to arrange for a pro to actually shoot and/or produce a video for you. However, anything other than a ready-to-go one supplied by you would necessarily cost more.
Guaranteed Overall Minimum Number of Placements: 1,000
Guaranteed Minimum Number of Embedded Video Placements: 300
Maximum Running Time: under 3 minutes. (Shortish, though, is good, so try to keep it to no more than 2½ minutes.)
Acceptable Formats: .mov file or live link to a video from YouTube or elsewhere.
The NewsUSA Guarantee: If you don’t get both those minimum number of placements within four months, we’ll give you a free make-good – no questions asked.
